Our story begins in 1952 when Modern Block, a concrete block manufacturing company located in Oceanside, California, was formed. In the early 1990s, Partners Bill Gibney and Ray Raub joined together and formed Modern Builders Supply. Soon after they were joined by their third partner Jim Thompson.

As our name suggests, Modern Builders has the most popular and fashionable masonry materials and building supplies in San Diego County.
